Arts Trail
The Rotorua district is home to a thriving and growing arts and cultural community. Renowned as a tourist destination, local Maori of Te Arawa have been welcoming and sharing their arts and cultural traditions with the world for over 100 years. These traditions continue on and you will find exemplary examples of weaving and carving as well as performances throughout the city’s gardens and public and private buildings.

We invite you to take a look at the districts growing public art collection. Hardcopies are available from the Rotorua Information Centre, District Council. City Focus and other outlets. If you would like copies for your conference or tour group sent to you, contact Kiri at Kiri.Jarden@rdc.govt.nz  or download a copy of the Trail here.
