The Rotorua Arts Village (RAVE) opened in 2002 and is an ongoing project involving individuals and groups, professionals and amateurs, focused on art, craft and culture in Rotorua. Based in a purpose-built facility on the corner of Hinemoa and Hinemaru Streets, RAVE provides a focal point for our arts community.
The Village is a complex of studios and meeting rooms that provide facilities for art groups to get together throughout the day, and for a wide variety of art classes for all ages and levels of skill. Two galleries provide the opportunity for artists to showcase their work, while the spacious grounds play host to a range of arts-related feativals and events throughout the year.
Whether you want to join a group, learn a new skill, buy an artwork, or just look around, you will find RAVE worth a visit!
